How much was the final cost of the fire engine that was purchased from the interfund loan? Original Fire Loan was approved for $1.1 M - Actual spend was $933,205 in Nov 2022. Interest only payments of approx. $30k have been paid, annually. 2. Provide further detail about the budget impact of $405,000 for the TCC HVAC. Was this a replacement, a repair, or both? These expenses are in relation to the TCC HVAC Replacement Project Phase 1, which was approved by City Council last year at the May 20th meeting. In this case, Phase 1 was a replacement of the Boilers and Controls System onsite at TCC with work being performed by McKinstry in coordination with Public Works. What is the total cost of this project? Total cost for Phase 1 was projected with a Guaranteed Construction Maximum (or GMAX) of $1,735,419 Is there any grant reimbursement related to this? If so, how much and have we already received any of the reimbursement funds? T The city has received and finalized/closed the following grants in relation to this project: a. Washington State Department of Commerce Appropriation = $749,810 b. King County Best Starts for Kids Capital Grant = $500,000 c. King County Veterans, Seniors, and Human Services Levy Supplemental Funding _ $80,139 d. Total = $1,329,949 3. How much is the HR limited term position budgeted for in 2026? Public Safety Bond fire station - debt service paid partially with fire impact fees. What is the total bond, annual payment, and expiration date? Provide information from HR with further assurance about the ability to make a new position funding -dependent. Is this regarding the PW Project Manager position? 1 FTE increase for a Parks Capital Improvement Program Project Manager. This position is funded outside of the General Fund through various sources such as the KC Parks Levy, REET 1, Park Impact Fee, and grants. Creation of the position allows for bringing this work in-house at a significant savings from contracting this work out and allows for better coordination of process. Parks CIP includes projects that are of a scale and complexity that require advanced planning, multiple stages of environmental review, permitting, design, and construction administration. Continuation of this project position is contingent on available and allowable non -General Fund resources. The position will be reduced or eliminated should funding decline or not be sufficient to support the position. Levy 1. Provide info about the grant reimbursement for the Crystal Springs lighting project. The Crystal Springs Lighting Project is a grant reimbursement project via the Local Parks Maintenance (LPM) Grant provided by the Washington State Recreation & Conservation Office.
