The fourth annual Tukwila Tree Giveaway is back, helping grow the tree canopy in our City! One or two free trees are available for planting in Tukwila. Choose from io different tree species —there's something for everyone! Complete the online application by September 15 to secure your free trees. Pickup day at Hazelnut Park will be Saturday, October 4. The project is expected to last approximately four months and will improve traffic flow, pedestrian safety, and transit accessibility. Conference Conference Conference Non -Conference Non -Conference Non -Conference Conference Conference um Non -Conference • Sidewalks and curb ramps will be rebuilt to make walking and rolling easier for everyone • New traffic signals will help manage vehicle flow and improve safety for all road users • Signs and lane markings will be updated to clearly guide drivers and pedestrians • A retaining wall will be built to support the new sidewalk and bus stop area During construction, temporary disruptions to traffic and pedestrian access may occur. Please follow posted signage and detours, and allow extra time when traveling through the area. These improvements are part of Tukwila's ongoing commitment to building safer, more accessible streets for everyone including transit riders. Questions?
