Preparing people to help take care of themselves, CERT training is being offered by Puget Sound Fire to save lives and protect property. The upcoming spring 2025 CERT Basic Training session begins on March 19. CERT registration will open on Monday February v. Location: Puget Sound Fire —Station 73 26512 Military Road South, Kent The CERT Basic Training is free but registration is required as class sizes are limited. Classes will be available afternoons (too-4:3oPM) or evenings (6:oo-9:3oPM). The CERT curriculum includes disaster preparedness, CERT organization, disaster medical operations, disaster psychology, fire safety and utility controls, light search and rescue operations, terrorism, and disaster simulation.
