A. regular meeting of Tukwila Town Council was called
tai order at 6:P.I1L? by Councilman Naylor. in the absence
of Mayor Walkup. Councilmen present were,
Ed Ge:rge, Carl Lee, Stanley Minkler and August Thies.
Minutes of previous meeting read and accepted.
Current bills were read and emotion made and carried
that they be paid.

At this time Mayor Walkup arrived and took the chair.
L letter was read from the Association of Wash. Cities
in regards; to Post Weir Projects After a discussion
in was decided that Mayor Walkup contact the State Dept..
of Highways in regards to plans.
The Community Club asked that a stop sign be placed at
intersection of Main Street and So 144 th St that a
Street light be turnedon at. the. Main Highway.A motion
was made and carried that the Town pay for the. service.
A report was made on the Fire truck.. A suitable one has
been found,and an application sent for Priority.
Mr North made areport on the Fire alarms on electric
ltg4t poles and found the expense would be too high.
It was decided to use the te:l ephonesfar the present time.
Treasurers report read and accepted.
Water Supt. report read and placed on file.:..
Na further business: appearing,a motion awes made to adjourn.
