Any owner or authorized agent who intends to construct, enlarge, alter, repair, move,
demolish, or change the occupancy of a building or structure, enlarge, alter, repair,
remove, convert or replace any electrical, gas, mechanical or plumbing system, the
installation of which is regulated by this code, or to cause any such work to be done, shall
first make application to the building official and obtain the required permit.
Observed Condition: On August 29Th, 2025, I observed an unperm'itted metal carport erected in the driveway at
this residence. It also had electrical power ran to It for lighting.
Corrective Action: 1. Obtain a Single -Family Residential Remodel and Addition Permit from the City of
Tukwila.
2. Obtain an electrical permit, required by the TMC, related to the Single -Family
Residential Remodel and Addition.
3. Pay all applicable permit fees. Other additional fees will be required for Electrical,
Plumbing and Gas, Mechanical, and any other required permit(s).
Or, remove the structure and electrical work.
Please note, permits are not considered final until they have received an approved final
inspection. Case will remain open until the new permit has been finaled.
Compliance Date: 9/30/2025

3.A brief statement of the specific order or action protested, together with any supporting facts;
and
4. A brief statement of the relief sought, and the reasons why it is claimed that the notice and order
should be reversed, modified, or otherwise set aside.
