WHEREAS, the Council of the Town of Tukwila, King Co nty, at a regular meeting thereof, held the fifth day of September, 1939, made the following estimate of ex- penditures and receipts from all sources other than direct taxation upon the real and personal property of the said Town of Tukwila for the ensuing year 1940. General taxation ESTIMATED RECEIPTS i o 936.00 600.00 1222.50 2758.50 NOW THEREFOR, BE IT ORDAINED BY r .11E TO, COUNCIL OF 1 E 201E4 OF TUKWILA: Section 1. That for the purpose of raising funds with which to pay the expenditures as above enumerated to- gether with the redemption of debt for the Town of Tukwila for the ensuing year 1940, there shall be certified to the County Assessor of King County Washington, the sum of One Thousand Two Hundred Twenty Two and Fifty One Hundreths ($1222.501 as the amount to be raised by general taxation upon the real and personal property embraced within the corporate limits of the Town of Tukwila as shown by the assessment rolls of Kind County for the Year 1939. SECTION 2. THAT THIS ORDINANCE shall take effect and be in full force from and after its passage and pub- lication.
