The regular monthly meeting of the Town Council of the Town z�
of Tukwila was called to order by councilman IL.R.Naylor, in
the absence of the Mayor.Additionai councilmen present were
August Thies,Lewis Eggers and WM.Balsley.
The minutes of the July meeting were read and approved as
read. Current Bills were read ,and upon motion ordered paid.
At this time the Mayor,J.P.Wa kup,arrived and tookbthe chair.

A- petition to gravel 5E3th. Ave. was read, and referred
to the Comm. on Streets Roads,who were to investigate and t-
bring in a report.
Treas. report was read and accepted.
Water Supt. report was read and placed on file.
A letter from the Parks Supt.of the South Dist.Of King Co.
was read,requesting information concerning recreational
agencies in the Town. The Clerk was instructed to furnish
the Park Supt. thfls information.
Councilman Naylor reported issueing three building permits
during July. A request for a Masonary building south of Rectors
store was presented, and granted.
Councilman Wm. Balsley was asked to investigate The Fireman's
Pension, and bring in a report.
Mr. Brewer was instructed to procure Stop signs and 25 miaon,.e
signs.
