Tukwila was called to order at 8 P.M. by the Mayor,
J ..P .Wa]lkup.
Councilmen present- J.R.Nay]ior,Lewis Eggers and WM.,Balsley..
Minutes of the September meeting were read and approved
as read.. The report of the Water Suptt.was read and placed
on file. The report of the Treasurer was read and accepted.
Current bills were read and ordered paid.

Section was read. It promised prompt attention to our
recent order.

Mr. Balsley introduded Mr. Daniels who discussed with mem-
bers_ of the council a plan for garbage collection for the
entire town. It was moved and carried that a hearing be
hilt at the town hall on Monday evening October 25, to
ascertain the desire of the people on a suggested fee of
75 Bents. per month for garbage collection, to be paid with
the regular water bill. The clerk was instructed to send
out cards advising the people of this hearing.
It was moved and carried that Mr. Cowan, attornery, be con
auited concerning House Bi11 #361,Laws of 1945.
Mr:Naylor'reported two building permits issued during Sept.
Oft-motion, the budget, Ordnance #164 was put on its second
reading by title only.
On tan, Ordinance 064 was put on its third reading and
final passage. Roll call showed Mr. Naylor, yes; Mr. Eggers,
yes; Mr. Balsley, yes.
