Problem Description: Perform bridge inspection services for 14 City of Tukwila bridges in 2025. Please note,
this includes 2 under bridge inspection truck (UBIT) inspections and 2 structures that are co -owned with the City
of Kent and City of Renton.
Nature of Request: Routine and condition inspections for TUKxNx01, TUKxNx02, TUKxNx03, TUKxNx06,
TUKxNx07, TUKxNx08, TUKxNx09, TUKxNx 11, TUKxNx 12, TUKxNx 13, TUKxNx 14, TUKxPx 16,
TUKxNx24 and 4001. Additional UBIT inspections at TUKxNx02 and TUKxNx 14. Bridge TUKxPx 16 is a
pedestrian bridge. Inspection reports will be submitted and approved by WSDOT and the City after completion.
Location: Bridges TUKxNx02, TUKxNx03, TUKxNx06, TUKxNx09, TUKxNx 14, TUKxPx 16, and 4001 span
over the Green/Duwamish River. TUKxNx01 spans over S 133rd St, TUKxNx 13 spans over S Ryan Way,
TUKxNx08 and TUKxNxI l span over the BNSF rail, TUKxNx24 spans over Southcenter Parkway, TUKxNx 12
spans over Airport Way, and TUKxNx07 spans over Southcenter Blvd. Detailed location information can be
found in the bridge inventory accessed through the WSDOT Bridge Works software.

Recommended Action: 12.18.2025 AMENDED COST ESTIMATE: Inspect the city bridges as requested
including interim inspection for Tuk-14. Inspection reports will be provided to the city and WSDOT. Cost
Estimates are amended (December 2025) as follows: Routine Inspections - $23,910.21; UBIT inspections —
$18,502.84; and TUK-08 — $5058.95. Total Cost Estimate: $47,472 ORIGINAL COST ESTIMATE DETAILS:
