The regular meeting of the Town Council of the Town of
Tukwila was calked to order by the Mayor, J.P.Waikup,at
8 P.M. Councilmen present were J.R.Naylor, A.W.Thies,
Lewis Eggers.
Mr. A.Caratensen, erected to fill out the unexpired term
of Wm. Balisley, was sworn in and took his place in the council.
The minutes of the February meeting were read and approved
as read.
Mayor Walkup reported that he had made application to the
War Assets Corporation for the Town of Tukwila for the pur-
chase of 400 ft. of double jacket 2i in. fire hose at 0.56
per foot,including couplings.
Attention was _called to the Annual Convention of Washington
Cities to be heleith May and the Mayor, J.P.Walkup, was select-
ed to represent the Town. It was moved and carried that his
expenses to this convention be allowed.
At this time Mayor Walkup was excused to attend another
meeting and J.R.Naylor took the Chair.
Current bills were read and upon motion ordered paid.

The Treasurers report was read and accepted.
The report of the Water Supt. was read and placed on file.
Mrs.. Hematedt was present and ask d fo a pe t to move
a building to the site on the Hiway', the Rich
field Service Station.She plans to install a Soda Fountain.
It was moved and carried that permission be granted.
Vic Nort} Fire Chief, reported a fallen chivy on a
roof of a house on the Lemon road. The Marshall was asked
to request the owners to take care of this fire hazard.
