The regular meeting of the Town Council of the Town of
Tukwila was called to order by the Mayor, J.P.Walkup, at 8
P.M. Councilmen present were J.R.Naylor, A.W.Thies and A.
R.Carstensen.
The Mayor announced he had appointed Mrs.Ella Brewer as
Water Supt. to fill out the month of March after the death of
Fred Brewer on March 7.
It was moved and carried that a Resolution, expressing the
high regard of the members of the Council for Fred Brewer and
their grief at his passing, be drafted; and that one copy be
sent to his family and one copy be retained among the Town files.
The resignation of Lewis Eggers as councilman ,dated Mar.
15, ,was read and upon motion accepted.
In reply to a letter from Joshua H.Vogel,,Planning and
Public Works Consultant,, the Clerk was instructed to find out
if the Town can receive a grant to complete the Fire Station,
install a Fire Alarm System and improve the Town Park.
Current Bills were read and upon motion ordered paid.

Complaint was made of boys throwing rocks. Mr. Eggers
was asked to look into the matter.
Vic North, Fire Chief, reported plans were bring made
to instsll a fire alarm system.
