Tukwila was called to order bJ the mayor J.P.Walkup at 8
P.M.. Councilmen present were J.R.Naylor,A.W.Thies and A.R.
Carstensen.
It was moved and carried that Elmer Wootan fill the
vacancy in the Council made by the resignation of Lewis
Eggers. Mr. Wootan was sworn in as Councilman and took
his place at the Council table..
The minutes of the April meeting were read and approv-
ed as read.
A letter of thanks and appreciation from Mrs.Brewer
was read.
A card From the adviser of the Girl Scouts of Hi -Line
requesting permission to use the Town Park on June 1st.
was read. It was moved and carried that permission be
granted.
Current bills were read and upon motion ordered paid.

The Treasurers report was read and accepted.
The report of the Water supt. was read and placed on
file.
Ordinance No.1.66 ,revising section 3 of Cddinance 129,
making the salary of the Water Supt. $100.00 per month,
was drawn up, and upon motion plaepdzdn its first reading.
It was moved and carried that the salary of the Street
Supt. be $'5.00 per month. Roll call showed councilmen
Naylor,Thies, Carstensen and Wootan voting yes.
It was moved and carried that the water supt. get a
new meter for the dairy.
Mr.Eggers reported an open well in a field. He was
instructed to see the owner of the property about the
matter.
Meeting adjourned at 8 :45.
