of Tukwila was called to order by the Mayor, J.P.Walkup,
at 8 P.M. Councilmen present were A.W..Thies, A.R.Carstensen,
Marvin Chelette, Elmer Wooten and Joe Aliment.
The minutes of the regular September meeting were read
and approved as read. The minutes of the special meeting of
September 1Q were read and approved as read.
Current bills were read and upon motion ordered paid.

The report of the Water Dept. was read and placed on
file. The Treasurer's report was read and accepted.
A letter from the Fire Dept.,appointing Don Eggers to
represent that department on the board of trustees of the
Fire mens Relief Fund, was read.
It was moved and carried that we allow the Bureau of
Public Administration to examine and revise our Ordinances.
Mr. Eggers was instructed to check on the Fire equip-
ment for sale by the Town of Auburn.
Upon motion the Budget for 1947,0rdinance #1.63,was
placed on its second reading ,by title only. Upon motion
Ordinance 168 was placed on its third reading and final
passage. Roll call showed Mr. Thies, Carstensen, Chelette,
Wiitan and Aliment voting yes.
Mr. Walkup reported work on oiling the streets was
almost completed. Mr. Thies reported two building permits
issued in September.
Meeting adjourned at 9 :40.
