A Special meeting of the Tovm Council of tie Town of
Tukwila was called to order by the i••ayor, C as O. Laker,
at 8 P.M. The purpose of the meeting was to discuss the
suggestion of the Fire Departlent to withdraw the per-
mission the Town Council gave the Recreation Council to
use the playground adjoining the Town ';all. Councilmen
present were Stan ilinkler, Joe Aliment, Li.O.Chelette,A.H.
Heemink and L.P.Lutes.
The letter from the Fire Department,containing a {eso-
lution "that the Town Council withdraw the permission they
granted the Recreation Council,at the July 7th. meetin;,to
use the playgtound adjoining the Town Tall; was read.
After much discussion it was moved and carried the
Council withdraw the permission granted the Recreation
Council to use the playground at the o 'fall. It as re-
commended they go o to Tukwila Park 14 a
The second second purpose of the meeting wasto discuss the
motion made at the July 7iieeting to allow an additional ;1000.00
to the Fire Dept. as an emergency budget. The Clerk was instructed
to write to the Association of Viashington Cities for information.
Meeting adjourned at 9 :25
