Councilmen present were Stan Minkler, Joe Aliment, Vic North, A.H. He emink «a aq Mr. Nordquist of Seattle City Light was present and told the Council of the possibility of his company taking over the Puget Sound Power Light Co. A letter from the Seattle Gas Co.,in which they stated their willingness to make a satisfactory repair on 53th. Ave.So., was read. It was moved and carried to give the present patch a tryout for a couple of months and see how it holds up. Current bills were read and upon motion ordered paid. Current Ex ense Pacific Ter. The report of the Water dept. was read and placed on file Mr. Minkler reported three building permits issued in Jan. Mr. Avoledo asked permission to build a strucure close to the street. Moved and carried permission be granted. It was moved and carried the Clerk write Mr. Paul Braun of the Wash. State Fire Survey, asking him tobe present at our Mar. meeting Ordinace #179 was upon motion, placed on its second reading by title only. Upon motion, ordinance #179 was placed on its third reading and final passage. Upon motion, ordinance 178 was placed on its second reading by title only. Upon mption, ordinance was placed on its third reading and final passage. Upon motion, ordinance 180, an ordinance concerning water mains, was placed on its first reading. Upon motion, ordinance 181, an ordinance providing for a Cumulative Reserve Water Fund, was placed on its first reading.
