Councilmen present were Stan. Minkler, Joe Aliment, Vic North and Burton P. Lutes. The minutes of the May 3 rd. meeting were read and approved as corrected. Rector, gas May A.H.Warren, salary May The report of the Treasurer was read and accepted. The report of the water dept. was read and placed on file. Mr. Minkler reported 4 building permits issued in May. Mr. Browning was present and promised to sign a paper stating he would vacate the building he has erected on lot 13, Block 2, Hillman's Seattle Garden Tracts, on or before July 1, 1948. It was moved and carried to buy concrete posts and cable for a -guard rail on the curve of 5S Ave. S. It was moved and carried the brakes on the Town truck be repaired, also the jack shaft and clearance light.
