The minutes of the July 6 meeting were read and approved as read.
The minutes of the Special meeting of July 13 were read and approved
as raed.
A letter from Mr. Durbin in regard to his bulkhead was read. The
Mayor appointed Mr. Luted to investigate and bring back a report.
Current bills were read and upon motion ordered paid.

Hsu a ark wavvaqueSted to send a registered letter to LIr. Ellis
asking him to appear at the Specil meeting on August 10 to confer
with the Council regarding the condemning of a dwelling he owns in
the Town.
It was moved and carried the Clerk advertise for bids for a
mowing machine for the Town.
Ordinance 132,an ordinance regulating Quarries, was, upon
motion, placed on its second reading by title only. Upon motion
Ordinance 182 was placed on its third reading and final passage.
Ordinance 133, an ordinanceregarding annexation of property
just south of Town, was, upon motion, placed on its second reading
by title only.. Upon motion, Ordinance 133 was placed on: its third
reading and final passage.
The resignation of Mr. Warren as Street and Water Supt. was read
and upon motion accepted.

It was moved and carried the salary of the Street -w Water Supt.
be increased to X2800.00 per year to take effect Sept. 1st. and that
the Clerk draw up an ordinance to this effect,

It was moved and carried a Special meeting of the Town Council
be held on August 10 to consider the following:
To consider bids for the proposed street work.
To draw up an ordinance regulating dog kennels.
To act on the condemnation of house owned by Mr. Ellis.
To receive applications for street and Water Supt.
To draw up an ordinance fixing the salary of the Street Supt,
Thew.Cierk was requested to contact the Puget Sound Power Light
Co. relative to a pole in the street at So. 141 55 Ave. S0.
Mr. Aliment, Mr. Heemink and Mr. Lutes were appointed a committee
to inveskigate the request for a continuation of 57 Ave. S.
Meeting adjourned at 10 :15.
