was called to order by the Mayor, Chas. 0. Baker, at 3 P. >i.
Councilmen present were Stan Minkler, Joe Aliment, A.H.Heemink
and Vic North.
The purpose of the meeting was to consider bids for proposed
street work, draw up an ordinance regulating dog kennels, act on
condemnation of house owned by Frank Ellis, receive applications
for street water Supt. and to draw up an ordinance fixing the
salary of the Street Supt.
Two bids for the Street work were presented, from the Doolittle
Ctnstruction Co. and from the Washington Asphalt Co.
It was moved and carried the bid of the Washington Asphalt Co.;" of
5,420.40,being the lower bid of the two, be accepted.
Ordinance 134, an ordinance fixing the salary of the Street
Supt., was, upon motion, placed on its first reading.
Ordinance 135, an ordinance regulating dog kennels, was, upon
motion, placed on its first reading.
The Mayor appointed Mr. Slade Street and Water Supt.
It was moved and carried a notice be posted on the house owned
by Frank Ellis, stating it is subject to condemnation. Mr. Ellis
did not appear at the meeting.
Meeting adjourned at 9:25
