Councilmen present were Stan i''iinkler, Jie Aliment, Vic North and 1.P.Lutes. The munutes of the meeting of September 7 were read and approved as read. a letter The Clerk read from the Puget Sound Power and Light Co. in which they stated a pole they had set on 55 S. near S. 141 wasnot in the way of traffic .Citizens insist it is a hazard. The letter was placed on file. A letter from the King County Dept. of Health was read. It was a report on the Dog Kennels in the Town, with recommendations. Mr. Minkler reported 2 Building permits issued in Sept. The bid of 967 for a drying tower for fire hose was sub- mitted by Mr. Mettler. The bid was not accepted and the matter referred back to the Fire Dept. for further consideration. Ordinance 137, increasing the monthly water rate to X2.25, was, upom motion, placed on its first reading. Mr. Harding asked for a clarifaction of the Kennel Ordinance.
