was called to order by the Mayor, Chas. J. Baker, at P.M.
Councilmen present were Stan Minkler, Joe Aliment and A.W.Thies.
Councilmen elect Elmer Wootan and Garland Jewell were also at the
Council table.
The minutes of the meeting; of April 4 were read and approved as
read.
It was moved and carried to sent the Mayor as delegate to the
Annual Convention of the Association of Washington Cities to be
held on June 10 and 11, with expense allowed not to exceed :,.;100.00
Current Bills were read and upon motion ordered paid.

The report of the Water dept. was read and placed on file.
It was moved and carried po employ Mr. Manus as engineer for the
laying of the water main. He asks a fet: of L200.00 for work on the
pipe line and 0.00.00 for work on culverts.
It was moved acid carried to advertise for bids on the laying of
the pipe after May 15.
It was moved and carried to employ 74.Vv.Kassner to hail the pipe
when it arrives.

Upon motion, Ordinance was placed on its second reading by title
only. Upon motion, Ord. #193 was placed on its third reading and final
passage.
It was moved and carried that owners of property on which are open
wells be instructed to cover them immediately with solid board covers
and fill them within 30 days. If owners do not comialy the Town will
make the fill and charge it to the owners.
It was moved and carrm.ed the Clerk be instructed to draw up a
Traffic ordinance.
