The regular meeting of the Town Council of the Town of
Tukwila was called to order by the Mayor, Cl_as 0. Laker, at 3 P.
Councilmen present were Stan :.iinkler, Joe Aliment and ti.W .Thies
The minutes of the May meeting were read and ap)roveu as read.
It was moved and carried to advertise for bids on laying the
new water mains and placing; hydrants,for laying culverts; a special
meeting being called on June 24,at 3 P.M .for opening the bids.
The clerk read a letter from the State Patrol in which they
offered to send speakers to the town. It was moved and carried to
secure a speaker for the Community Club meeting to be held on June
13.
Current bills were read and upon motion ordered paid.

It was moved and carried to revise the water ordinance..
Mr.. Minkler reported two building permits issued in ::ay.
It was moved and carried that Dill Weiss, Mr. Anhalt, and A.
L. Morgan be contacted in regard to the condition the quarry was left.

Upon motion Ordinance Ilo. 195, an odinance relating to the operatior
of motor vehicles, was placed on its first reading..
The new council of the Town of Tukwila was called to order
by the Mayor, Charles 0. Baker, at 9:20 p.:n.
The Mayor administered the oath of office to tie newly elected
clerk treasurer Lois T. Newton.. He also administered tht; oath of
office to the recently elected councilmen Elmer Wootan and G. T.
Jewell..
The Mayor appointed the following co:rnittees:
Finance Committee; the full council
Health Sanitation Public Welfare; Minkler, Wootan, Jewell-
Streets Sewers; Alimant, Thies, WQotan.
hater Committee; Minkler, Thies, Jewell..
Parks Playgrounds; Thies, Jewelj, Wootan.
Ways Means; the full council.
Upon motion the meeting adjourned at 9:30 p.m.
