HomeMy WebLinkAbout1949-07-05 Regular MinutesJuly 5, 1949 The regular meeting of the Town Council of the Town of Tukwila was called to order by the Mayor, Chas. 0. Baker, at 8 P.M. Councilmen present were Stan Minkler,Joe Aliment,A.Thies, Elmer Wootan and G.T. Jewell. The minutes of the meeting of June 6th. were read and approved as read. The minutes of the Special meeting of June 24 were read as approved as read. The bids of Joe Collucia, Critcher Raber and Patrick H.Deeny for labor in laying water mains and constructing ciklverts, were reconsidered. It was moved and carried to accept the bid of Patrick H. Deeny, that being the lowest bid, of $3,758.00, and to award the contract to him. A letter from J.L.Durbin, relative to his bulkhead, was read. It was moved and carried to seek advice on the matter. Current bills were read and upon motion ordered paid. Mr. Minkler reported 3 building permits issued in June. The matter of the trailer parked on C.H.Bryanis property being used as a dwelling was discussed. It was moved and carried to take the matter to court. Ordinance No. 195, an ordinance relating to the oper- ation of stotor vehicles was,upon motion, placed on its second reading by title only.
