HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrd 0147 - 1937 BudgetORDINANCE NO 147 AN ORDINANCE FIXING THE BUDGET FOR THE YEAR 1937 FOR THE PAYMENT OF THE CURRENT MUNICIPAL EXPENSES AND PROVIDING FOR THE REDEMPTION OF BONDS AND FOR THE PAYMENT OF INTEREST THEREON WHEREAS, the Council of the Town of Tukwila, King County, Washington, at a regular meeting thereof, held the fifth day of October, 1936, made the following estimate of expenditures and receipts from all sources other than direct taxation upon the real and personal property of the said Town. of Tukwila for the ensuing year of 1937. ESTIMATE OF EXPENDITURES A— Operating and Maintenance of Expense: Treasurer's Salary Clerk's Salary Marshall's Salary Bonds of Officials Hall Rent Printing and Postage Elections State Examiner Street Repair and Park B- Redemption of Debt: 1919 Sinking fund 1928 )i 1919 Bond interest 1928 ESTIMATED RECEIPTS '75.00 120.00 10.00 15.00 45.00 60.00 40.00 50.00 1000.00 1000.00 600.00 195.00 484.50 A- Motor Vehicle Fund 626.46 B- State Liquor Aj,iortionment (Est.) 250.00 C— General Taxation 2818.04 411415.00 2279.50 3694.50 NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY TRJ TO COLT7CIL OP TIC^ TOWN OF TUKWILA: SECTION 1, That for the purpose of raising funds with which to pay the expenditures as above enumerated together with the redemption of debt for the Town of Tukwila for the ensuing year 1937, there shall be certi- fied to the County Assessor of King County, Washington, the sum. of $2,818.04 as the amount to be raised by general taxation upon the real and personal property embraced within the corporate limits of the Town of Tukwila as shown by the assess- ment rolls of King County for the year of 1936, SECTION 2, PASSED the Town Council and signed by me in authentication of its passage this 5th day of October 1936 Signed Mayor J.P.
