Anna Lieck, City Clerk Program Analyst, called the roll of the Council: Present at the meeting were Council
President Armen Papyan (on -site) and Councilmembers Verna Seat (on -site), Kate IKruller (on -site), Dennis
Martinez (on -site), Hannah Hedrick (on -site), Joe Torres Camacho (on -site), and Jane Ho (on -site).

amount of $215,000.00.

d. Authorize the Mayor to execute an agreement with Seattle Southside Regional Tourism Authority
(DBA Explore Seattle Southside) for "Station Domination' ad campaign for the 2026 FIFA. World Cup,
in the amount of $119,250.00,
(Utilizing Lodging Tax Funds - Reviewed and forwarded to consent by the Planning & Community
development Committee on 03/09/26j
A resolution authorizing the duly -appointed administering agency for South King Housing &
Homelessness Partners (SKHHP) to execute all documents necessary to enter into agreements for
the funding of affordable housing projects, as recommended by the SKHHP Executive Board, utilizing
funds contributed by the City of Tukwila to the SKHHP Housing Capital Fund.

Councilmember KrutIer requested Item 2f (Asset Transfer Agreement with Low income Housing Institute)
arid Item 2g (Agreement with Low Income Housing Institute for Grant Funds to Operate the Tiny Home
Village at CBSR) be pulled from the consent agenda for consideration under New Business.
MOVED BY SEAL, SECONDED BY HEDRICK TO APPROVE THE CONSENT AGENDA AS AMENDED.
MOTION CARRIED 7-0.
UNFINISHED BUSINESS
a, A resolution restating Tukwila's commitment to being a safe, welcoming and inclusive City,
and repealing Resolution No. 1970.
MOVED BY SEAL, SECONDED BY KRULLER THAT THE RESOLUTION BE READ N ITS ENTIRETY.
MOTION CARRIED 7-0.

MOVED BY KRULLER , SECONDED BY PAPYAN TO ADOPT THE RESOLUTION AS
READ. MOTION CARRIED 7-0, TO ADOPT RESOLUTION NO. 2140.
The Councilmembers thanked the Equity and Justice Commission for the updates they provided for this
resolution and acknowledged the Equity and Social Justice Commissioners present for the reading of the
resolution,
NEW BUSINESS
9 09 p.m.Councilmember Kruller recused herself per ROW 43.160.040 as she has a conflict of
interest for Item 4a and Item 4b under New Business
a. Asset Transfer Agreement with Low Income Housing Institute (LIHI) (Pulled from Consent
Agenda)
MOVED BY SEAL, SECONDED BY PAPYAN TO AUTHOURIZE THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE A
TRANSFER AGREEMENT WITH LOW INCOME HOUSING INSTITUTE (LIHI) FOR THE TRANSFER
OF TINY HOUSES, SMALL OFFICES, AND A HYGEINE TRAILER FOR THE TINY HOUSE VILLAGE
AT THE CHURCH BY THE SIDE OF THE ROAD. MOTION CARRIED 6-0 WITH KRULLER RECUSED.
b. Agreement with Low Income Housing Institute for Grant Funds to Operate the Tiny Home
Village at CBSR (Pulled from Consent Agenda)
MOVED BY HEDRICK, SECONDED BY PAPYAN TO AUTHOURIZE THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE A
GRANT AGREEMENT IN SUBSTANTIAL FORM WITH LOW INCOME HOUSING INSTITUTE FOR
START-UP, COMMISSIONING, AND INITIAL OPERATIONS OF THE TINY HOME VILLAGE AT THE
CHURCI-1 BY THE SIDE OF THE ROAD FOR AN AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED $200,000, WITH THE
FINAL, TERMS TO BE NEGOTIATED BY THE MAYOR AND FORM TO BE APPROVED BY THE CITY
ATTORNEY. MOTION CARRIED 6-0 WITH KRULLER, RECUSED.
