Councilmen present were Stan Minkler, Joe Aliment,A.W.Thies,Elmer Wootan and G.T. Jewell« The minutes of the meeting of September 6 were read and ap- proved as read. The minutes of the Special meeting of Sept.13 were read and approved as read. It was moved abd carried the Clerk write Mr. Durbin that the Tow of Tukwila cannot maintain the bulkhead inside his pro perty. Current bills were read and upon motion ordered paid. The Clerk was instructed to withhold payment of Street warrant No. 4390 for W109.90,payable to Patrick H. Deeny, until street work in his contract is completed.. The cost of material not to exceed v 60.00. Mr. Weise,owner of the property where the Tukwila quarry operated talked with the Council concerning the condition of the property now. Upon motion,Resolution No.73,directing the Clerk to use funds in the Water Cumulative Aeserve Fund for the replacement of water mains, was adopted. Upon motion Ord.No. 197, the budget for 1950, was placed on its second reading, by title only. llpon motion ford. No.197 was placed on its third reading and final passage.
