The minutes of the meeting of October 3rd. were read and
approved as read.
It was moved and carried that the Council approved the action
of the Clerk- Treasurer in transferring money derived from the
sale of Current Expende U.S.Savings Bonds to the Water Fund.
This to be a loan to the Water Fund.
It was also moved and carried that the following observation
be spread on the minutes. Due to the increase in the price of
pipe and fittings and to events which could not be forseen, the
Water Fund and the Fire Department exceeded their budget for 1949.
A letter fro J.L.Durbin was read and placed on file.
Current bills were read and upon motion ordered paid.

The report of the water department was read and placed on
file.
Mr. Minkler reported one building permit issued in October.
Moved and carried the speed limit thru the Town of the
Highway be 35 Mi. per hour with the State Patrol to enforce it.
It was suggested we revise the Building Code re trailers.
