Tukwila was called to order by the Mayor, Chas. G. L3aker,at
8 P.M. Councilmen present were Stan ilinr, ler, Joe Aliment,
A.W.Thies, Elmer Wootan and G.T.Jewell.
The purpose of the meeting was to take up Ord. j; 201,
and to discuss street and Park problems.
Upon motion, Obd. „r 201, an ordinance revising the pin
ball ordinance, was placed on its second reading by title only.
After much discussion further action on this ordinance was post-
poned until a later date.
It was moved and carried Mayor Baker and Mr.Slade,street
and water Supt. be sent as delegates to the State convention of
Washington Cities to be held in June and that expenses be allowed
in a amount not to exceed N100.00..
Since Scout Troups in the district use Tukwila Park and
desire to help mainjtain and improve it ,it was moved and carried
that Scout Troups in the district be assigned certain areas in
the Park for general upkeep, under the final supervision of the
Park Superintendant, this plan to be given a one year trial.
Mayor Baker reported on street conditions stating about
11 miles of Town streets need to be scarified and rolled.
Meeting adjourned at 9 :50 P.M.
