The Mayor Chasti1O. Baker; and two members of. the Town

foi.:the regular_neeting: __.There being no quorum present, the
Mayor set July 6th. as the time for adjourned meeting of the
Town Council.
The adjourned meeting of the Council was called to order
by the Mayor, Chas. 0. Baker, at 8 P.M. Councilmen present
were Stan Minkler, doe Aliment and Elmer 'Wotan.
The minutes of the meeting of June 5 were read and approved
as read.
Current bills were read and upon motion ordered paid.

It was moved and carried the Clerk write a letter to Mr. McManus
telling him that drinking to excess would not be tolerated in the
Town Hall and advising him that he must vacate the premises in
accordance with his agreement with the Town.

Mr. Minkler reported t-o building permits were issued in June.
He reported a -)ermit Issued for the removal of d"
home: Upon motion the house
formerly occupied by F.H.Harding on Tract 42 Of Brookvale
Garden Trac -ts and other buildings on this property were
condemned and the owner given 90 days in which to remove them.
A permit was granted for their removal.
Mr. Baker discussed with the Council the coming power
problem ..It was moved and carried the Council go on record as
Xavorih;g-askidg Seattle City Light to supply the Town with
power and light when Puget Sound Power and Light withdraws
from this district, and that a letter be written to Wm.F.
Devin, Mayor of beattle, appraising him of this decision.
Two bids were received and opened for Street Improvements
in the Town. One from Asphalt Paving Co.,another from Diesel mil
Co. The bid of 2599 «33, not including the State tax, from the
Asphalt Paving Co.,being the lower bid, was,upon motion,accepted
and awarded the contract for the work..
Upon motion the meeting adjourned at 9 :40P.I.
