The regular meeting of the Town Council of the Town of
Tukwila was called to order by the ..iayor, Chas. 0. Laker, at
3 P.M. Councilmen present were Stan i, inzler, joe Aliment,
A.W.Thies G.T.Jewell and hlmwr Wootan.
The minutes of the meeting of October 2 were read and
approved as read.
Current bills were read and upon motion ordered paid.

It was moved and carried to approve the transfer of .,500
from the Water fund back to the Current expense fund, from
which fund it was borrowed. This action is by authority of Ord.
197,budget for 1950.
The report of the Treasurer was read and approved.
The report of the Water Dept. was read and placed on file.
Mr. Minkler reported 1 builuing permit issued in October.
Mr. Aliment was appointed to wort: with r. Slade regard-
ing the advisability of closing a street.
Mayor Baker appointed Joe Aliment, Llmer Wootan and G.T.
Jewell a committee to look into the matter of allowing the White
House Tavern to operate card tables.
Mayor baker spoke on Civilian Defense Program and the
possible demands on each citizen.
