Councilmen present were Stan Minkler, Joe Aliment, A. W.Thies and G.T.Jewell.. The minutes of the meeting of January 2 were read and approved as read. The minutes of the caucus held on January 2 were also read and approved. Current bills were read and upon motion ordered paid. The report of the water dept. was read and placed on file. Mr. Minkler reported 3 building permits issued in January. The Clerk was asked to write a letter to the Commander of the Air Force at McCord Field re street'torn.up at time of the Plane crash. The water committee was asked to look into the cost of meters and installation and bring back a report. Upon motion, ord.No.204,re card,pool and billiard rooms, was placed on its 2nd.reading by title only. Upon motion, Ord. #204 was placed on its 3rd. reading and final passage. Mayor Faker appointed Mr. Aliment on a committee with Iar. Slade and Mr. Zehner to investigate the possibilities of widen- ing the road leading from fire hall to S. 147 St. Mayor Baker reported briefly on Civil Defense.
