The Town Council of Tukwila met in an adjourned meeting
at 7 :30 P.M. Councilmen present were Stan Minkler, A.W.Thies
and G.T.Jewell.. The purpose of the meeting was to receive
and open bids for an Alarm Siren for the Fire
Three bids were opened; from L.N.Curtis and Sons,1100
Westlake xve. No., Seattle; from Howard Cooper, 5045 4th.
Ave. So., Seattle and from Roy Cedarwall, 543 1st.. Ave. So.,
Seattle. The bid of L.N.Curtis Sons of $575.00; with the
purchaser's option of 50% on delivery and the balance on
February 1st. 1952,, being the lowest and meeting the require-
ments set forth in the call for bids, was the bid accepted,
upon motion.
