The regular meeting of the Town Council of the Town of Tukwila was
called to drder by the Mayor, Chas. G. Baker, at 3 P.M. Councilmen
present were Stan Minkler, A.W.Thies and G.T. Jewell
The minutes of the meeting of July 2nd. were read and approved as
read.
The Clerk reported the U.S.Air Force had allowed a claim of ti;;193..5O
for damage to a Town street. It was moved and carried Asphalt Paving
Co.. be asked to repair the street indicated, if they desire to do so.
Current bills were read and upon motion ordered paid.

Mayor Baker requested the members of the Street committee meet
with Mr. Slade and the property owner on S.141st. to see about widen-
ing the street.
The Clerk was asked to write Mr. R.B.Lrown on 53th.S.,requesting he
remove trees on his property which are a hazard to sidewalk traffic,
suggesting 60 days sufficient time for the removal.
After much discussion Qrd.203, the proposed business ordinance,as
revised, was placed on its first reading. Ttis ordinace has been under
consideration since the meeting of April 2nd. of this year.
