The regular meeting of the Town Council of the Town of Tukwila
was called to order by the Mayor, Chas. G. Baker, at 3 P.M.
Councilmen present were Stan Minkler, A.W.Thies, F.A.Grabner, G.T.
Jewell and Rudolf W. Regel.
The minutes of the meeting of Sept. 4 were read and approved as
read.
The Clerk read a letter from the Chairman of the School Advisory
Council of Dist. 406. It contained information pertaining to progress
in School Building developments.
Current bills were read and upon motion ordered paid.

It was moved and carried the estimate made by the Diesel Gil Co.,
for the repair of 62nd. Ave. s. be accepted and the company advised
to proceed with the work.
Upon motion; Ord. #t 209, the budget for 1952, was placed on its
second reading, by title only. Upon motion, Ord.# 209 was placed
on its third reading and final passage.

Mayor Baker appointed Councilmen Minkler, Jewell Grabner to
check with Mr. Desimone to ascertain the number of Business
licenses required at the White douse Tavern.
The Clerk was advised to send letters to those who have not yet
secured a business license.
Mr. Te Gantvoort, upon request, was granted 30 additional days
in which to remove trees in his yard considered dangerous.
Upon motion, Ord. #210, an ordinance relating to pensions and
retirement benefits for Town employees, was placed on its first
reading..
Council
Mayor Baker appointed on the School Advisory, S.i.1.adnich, J.W.
Mc Ginness and F.A.Grabner, representing the Town of Tukwila.
The Clerk was asked to write Mr. Van Amburgh, requesting reason
for delay on action against health violators and inviting him out
to the November of Council.
Upon motion, meeting adjourned at 9 :35.
