We pay our respect to their elders past, present and emerging. • Roll Call • Approval of Agenda • Approval of Minutes Sherry Williams, VP Community Engagement and External Relations, HealthPoint Administration • Public Art Collaboration at the new HealthPoint Tukwila Commons o HealthPoint is now ready to discuss the inclusion of art in the facility.  They are looking for guidance from the commission. A vision. Choosing the type of art.  Pat Bako: a budget needs to be determined. A person to lead the process.  Michael May: will send Beth Gahan’s contact to Sherry, and the contact for the new METRO electrified bus facility.  Pinky Estell: dynamic installations will keep the space fresh.  HealthPoint possesses the keys to the hotel rooms. There is a desire to create an art piece from these found items.  Pinky: Connect with Urban Artworks and Path With Art. Commissioner Reports: • Reports o Portrait Project Update (Sheila Coppola): Equity and Social Justice Commission assistance with recruitment.  Sheila Coppola, Jo Anderson, and Michael May met with the Tukwila Historical Society to help identify community members to identify.  Next Steps: Sharon Nakata has been identified as the next portrait honoree. • An artist will be identified at the next meeting. o Mayoral Grant Program Update (Pat Bako): Number of grants and amount.  Michael will reach out to the Mayor’s Office. • New Business o Staff Reports • World Cup Art Update o June 29/30 Tukwila Village Paint Party • Farmers Market Update Agenda for Next/Future Meetings (5 min) Adjournment / Next Meeting: July 15, 2026
