The regular meeting of the Town Council of the 1 own of Tukwila
was called to order by the Mayor, Chas. 0. Baker, at 3 P.M.
Councilmen present were Stan Minkler, A.W.Thies, G.T.Jewell, Rudolf
W. Regel and A..G.Radforld.
The minutes of the meeting of March 3 were read and approved as
read.
A letter inquiring if Metalbestos met the building requirements
in the Town was read and turned over to a committee of Mr. 1vlinkler
and Mr. Radford for investigation. Letters from Col.Wm.D. Frazer,
explaining why Tukwila did not receive the Test Alert on Mar.31,
were :.read: .and discussed.
Current billd were read and upon motion ordered paid.

Mr. Radford reported on progress of new school.

The report of the Treasurer was read and accepted.
The report of the Water Dept. was read and placed on file.
There was considerable discussion on the evident loss of water.
The reading of the Master meter being about 200,000 cu.ft. more
than the total of the consumers/ meters readings. During the month

a greatLd.eal of water going thrchugh the meter. Cur pipe lines were
checked also..
Mr. Minkler reported 1 building permit issued in March.
It was moved and carried the High School be granted permission
to hang "Activity" signs in the Town, under the supervision of Mr.
Slade.
Upon motion, Ord.# 215, an ordinance revising the pin ball ordi-
nance, was placed on its second reading, by title only. Upon motion,
Ord.# 215 was placed on its third reading and final passage. Mr.
Jewell was appointed to check with Mr. Hess on the number of machine
in Town.
It was announced Police Court would be held Tues. April 8, at
8 P.M.
After more discussion on the grave water situation in Town a
Special meeting was called for April 15, at 8 P.M. to take up this
and other matters.
Meeting adjourned at 10 :15.
