HomeMy WebLinkAbout1952-09-02 Regular MinutesSeptember 2,1952 The regular meeting of the Town Council of the Town of Tukwila was called to order by the j.layor, Chas. O. Baker, at 3 P.M. A moment of silence was observed in a tribute to the memory of our late Councilman, Garland T. Jewell who passed away since our last meeting. Mr. Baker pp©keL,a few words of commendation of LIr. Jewell Mr. Minkler moved the adoption of I,esolution Tvo.37, an expression of the grief of the Councilmen and their sympathy for the family of h,r. Jewell. It was seconded and carried, and signed by the ;Mayor and the Councilmen. A copy was to be sent to the family. Councilmen present were LIr. Minkler, A.W.Thies, Rudolf W. Regel and A.G.Radford. The minutes of the Meeting of August 4 were read and approved as. read. Upon motion, Ord. No. 216, an ordinance dexlaring an emergency and placing x;2,000.00 of water funds in the 1952 budget, was placed and its second reading by title, only. Upon motion, Ord. No.216 was placed on its third reading and final passage. Current bills were read and upon motion ordered paid.
