The regular meeting of the Town Council of the Town of Tukwila was
called to order by the mayor, Chas. O. Baker at 3 P.11. Councilmen present
were Stan Minkler, A.W.Thies, Rudolf Regel anti A.G.Radford..
A moment of silence was observed in memory of two former Town
officials who recently passed away ;:T,Ir. B.H.Kassner, at one time a
Councilman and Mrs. Anne Ross, formerly Town Clerk.
Upon motion, Resolution No. 33, in memory of Mr. Kassner, was
adopted.
Upon motion, Resolution No. 39, in memory of I' ;irs, Ross, was
adopted.
Bids were opened for a new car, to be used as a Police car for
the Town of Tukwila.
Three bids were received. The bid of White-iope, Inc. of ienton
for anew 1953 Fordor Sedan for w2013.92, including tax, being the bid
which best met the requirements set forth in the call for bids, was
accepted. First payment to be made on Jan.5, 1953. Upon motion,Res.
9Q,accepting this bid, was adopted.
The minutes of the meeting of Nov.. 3 were read and approved as
read.
Current billd were read and vpon motion, ordered paid.

The Fire dept. recommended The Town adopt the r €r County Code
for the installation of furnaces.. They were requested to bring in
-further recommendations at the next meeting.
Upon motion, Ordinance No. 213 was placed on its 2nd. reading
by title only. Upon motion, Ord. No.213 was placed on its third reading
and final passage.
Upon motion Ord. No. 119 was placed on its second reading, by title
only. upon motion, Ord. No. 219 was placed on its third reading and
final passage.
upon motion, Ord. No. 220 was placed on its second reading by title
only. Upon motion Ord. No. 220 was placed on its third reading ana
final passage.
The condition of the buildings in the Town Park was discussed at
length.- It was agreed that out of Town people use the Park more than
do the residents of Tukwila and that the 'sown does not have money to
put the buildings in good and safe condition.
Upon motion, Ordinance 14o. 221, an ordinance relating to the Town
Marshal, was placed on its first reading.
hlr. Minkler was asked to investigate the possibility of getting
garbage cans to place near the stores, on the highway.
