HomeMy WebLinkAbout1953-05-04 Regular Minutes47 May 4, 1953 The regular meeting of the Town Council of the Town of Tukwila was called to order by the Mayor, Chas. O. Baker, at 8 P.M. Councilmen present were Stan Minkler. August Thies and A.G.Radford. Since Mr. seat Hartley had not attended Council for three meetings in succession his/ was declared vacant and Mr. Watkins, Councilman elect, was, upon motion elected to fill the unexpired term. The oath of office was administered by Mayor Baker and Mr. Watkins took his seat at the Council table.. Minutes of the April meeting were read and approved as read. Mr. Radford reported on flood control, no funds for work now. The Clerk was asked to make inquiry at the Bureau of Governmental Re- search as to why we are taxed for Flood control, since we can secmre no help for our local control problems.
