Councilmen present were Stan Minkler, A.W.Thies, Rudolf W. Regel, A.G.Radford and Melvin Watkins. The minutes of the meeting of May 4 were read and approved as read. There was a request from Thomas Bros., map makers for a map of Tukwila. glerk instructed to reply ,promising a map in about 30 days. Mayor read correspondence between Mr. Cook and Mr. Coles and the Town regarding extension of water main to property across S..154th. Current bills were read and upon motion ordered paid. Mr. Minkler reported one buildinh permit issued in May. The Clerk was instructed to notify Mr. Louglas Henderson he has 30 days remarning in which to complete the building for which he deceived a permit in April. Mayor Baker appointed Mr. Watkins,Mr. Regel and Mr. Slade to see the new roof is put on the Fire Hall. Upon motion meeting was declared adjourned acne die at 9 :40. The new Council was called to order by the mayor,Chas. 0. Baker, who administered the oath of office to Mkte. Newton, reelected Clerk Treas. and to Mr. Regel and Mr. Watkins,Councilmen elected. Members of the Council congratulated Mayor Baker upon his new office, that of Pres. of the Assoc. of Valley Lities. Mr. Baker abnounced the next meeting of this Association will be held in i'irkland on the 4th. Wednesday of 8une Moved and carried Clerk advertise for bids for street work to be done this summer.
