The regular meeting of the Tukwila own Council was called to
order by the idayor, has. O. Laker, at 3 P.M. Councilmen present
were Stan Minkler, A:W.Thies, Rudolf W. Regel, A.G.Radford and
Melvin Watkins.
The minutes of the meeting of November 2 and of the Special
meeting of November 11 were read, and approved as read.

The report of the Treasurer was read and accepted.
The report of the Water Dept. was read and placed on file.
The matter of meters blowing out was discussed at length. It was
estimated that the meter that blew out in i4ov. had cost the Town
0_00.00 in water lost. The Clerk was asked to write the iockwell
Tlanuf. Co., asking them to replace these new type meters with meters
satisfactory to the Town.
Mr. Minkler reported 5 building permits issued in move :rber.

Mr. Thies reported a complaint by :rs Bow of unpleasant health
situation of property adjoining her. i' r Thies was asked to take this
up with Ling County wealth Dept. and report back at the January meet-
ing.

Mr. Radford gave a very complete re rtton School District affairs.
Hr. Heinz reported that he and Mr. glad been down to Portland
to see the new mire truck and work was progressing.
It was moved and carried that Mayor maker's appointment of Jades
McGinrress as Deputy Marshal and Ass'nt police Officer be approved.
Mayor Baker administerdd the oath of office.
Upon motion, 0rd.f,225, the Salary ordinance, was placed on its 1st.
reading. Upom motion, Ord.jr225 was placed on its second reading, by title
only. By motion, 0rd.k225 was placed on its 3rd. reading ano. final passag
Lawrence Crostick offered a portion of his property to widen the
adjoining street.The street com::u.ttee were 1 sed to .Beet with him and
report back. Meeting adjourned at 10 P.M.
