Mr. Minkler reported 3 building permits issued in July. It was moved and carried the Council go on record as opposing making the dump on the S.E.boundary of the Town being made a permanent dump. The Street committee reported they found S. 149th. St. in good con- dition with no need of additional attention at this time. Mr. Minkler reported findings on sidewalk responsibility. The Street Committee suggested a letter regarding this matter be sent out. Nick F. Heinz, Town Marshal and Police Officer, resigned as Police Officers It was moved and carried his resignation be accepted. Mayor Baker appointed Mr. G. Earle Parker and Mr. Robt. Leahy as Law Enforce- ment Officers and adminster the oath of office. 93
