order by the Mayor, Chas. 0. Baker, at 8 p /m. Councilmen present
were Stan Minkler, A.W.Thies, Rudolf Regal, A.G.Radford and Melvin
Watkins.
The minutes of the September meeting were read and approved as
read. Current bills were read and upon motion ordered paid.

The report of the Water dept. was read and placed on file.
Mr. Minkler reported 5 building permits issued in Sept.
A letter, prepared bynthe Street committee, and relating to
Town street iroblems, was read and discussed. It was moved and
carried it be sent to everyone in Town.
Mayor Baker appointed Mr. A.G.Radford, Mr. J.W.McGinness and Mr.
S.E.Radnich to represent the Tukwila Town Council on the School
Advisory Council for the coming year..
The Council discussed at length the problem of the reduced
assessed valuation of the Town, and the fact it would curtail our
budget.
Ordinance No. 228, the budget for 1955, was, upom motion, placed
on its secind reading, by title only. Upon motion, Grd. No.228 was
placed on its third reading and final passage.
