by the Mayor, Chas. 0. Baker, at 8 p.m. Councilmen present were Stan
Minkler, A.W.Thdes and Melvin Watkins.
The purpose of the meeting was to appoint a Police Judge and
talk over matters relating to the Police dept.
The Clerk read a letter from Darwin A. Dibble in which he
tendered his resignation as Polio. Judge of the Town of Tukwila.
It was moved and carried it be accepted and the Clerk write to Mr.
Dibble, thanking him for his faithful services while Judge.
A letter from the King County Commissioners was noted, in which
they appointed Earl Naylor Justice of the Peace for the Town of
Tukwila to fill unexpired term of Darwin A. Dibble, who had resigned.
Mayor Baker appointed Earl Naylor Police Judge and administered the
oath of office.
Mr. Naylor reported that on the evening of November 8th. the
first Court would be held. The Marshal and the deputy Marshals were
present and talked over, with Mr. Naylor policies and problems of
the Police dept. Mrs. Chelette who was present said she would con-
tinue as Court Clerk.
Resolution No. 95, a resolution selecting the Northgate Branch
of the National Bank of Commerce as the depository for Police Court
Funds and narnning_those who may sign and endorce checks, was adopted.
Meeting adjourned at 9 :15.
