The regular meeting of the Tukwila Town Louncil was called to
order by the Mayor, Chas. O. Baker, at 3 p.m. Councilmen present
were Stan Minkler, A.W.Thies, Rudolf Hegel, A'G.Radford and welvin
Watkins.
The minutes of the meeting of October 4 and of the special met-
ing of October 21st. were read and a,proved as read.
Current bills were read and upon motion ordered paid.

The report of the Water dept. was read and placed on file.
Mr. Minkler reported 3 building permits issued in October.
Mr. Baker read a letter from the Stat6 ommission which was in
reply to his request for an explanation of the reduction in valu-
ation of Tukwila property. The Mayor and Town Council did not con-
sider the answer satisfactory. It was suggested someone from the
County Assessor's office be invited to come and clarify matters.
Ordinance £'o. 229, the salary ordinance for 1955, was placed on
its first reading.
