A Special meeting of the Tukwila Town Council was called to
order by the :Mayor, Chas. C. Baker, at 3 p.m. Councilmen present
were Stan Minkler, August Thies, A.G.Hadford and Melvin Watkins.
The purpose xf the meeting was to discuss street and water
problems in the M.W.Addition.
Mr. Radford reported the representative of Sierra Liomes, Mr.
Robt. Dightman, desired the Town accept the roads and waSTer mains
J in this new addition.
Members of the Street committee examined the roads and reported
they were unsatisfactory; since they would probably be in need of
repair wit}jib a few months. Mr. Dightman suggested Sierra homes
-f would furnish a ne Bond; guaranteeing they maintain the
roads for a year. The Council agreed to this and asked Mr.l'ightman
to contact Mr. Radford regarding this bond. It was moved and carried
rx to take it up at the next regular meeting.
Mr. tWyinAlderson stated he would have the water mains in
proper condition for acceptance by the first of the coming week.
