The regular meeting of the Tukwila Town Council was called to order,
at 3 p.m. Councilmen presemt were Stan Minkler, August Thies, A.G.
Radford and Melvin Watkins.
Mayor Baker asked the Council to join with him in a moment of silence
in memory of Mr. S.H.Stevens, a former Mayor of Tukwila, who died recent-
ly. Mr. iiinkler moved the adoption of Res. 07, an expression of the
sympathy of the Council, it was seconded and carried.
Mayor taker thanked Mr. Minkler for presiding at the May meeting,
while Ivir. Baker was away; and for taking care of Tovm business ao well.
he thanked tie Council for standing by in his absence.
The minutes of the May meeting were read and approved as read. The
minutes of the Special meeting of June 2 were read and approved as
corrected.
Current bills were read and upon motion ordered paid.

Mr. Radford presented Mr. Dightman and Mr. Cross, representing
Sierra Homes, and reported they were furnishing a Maintenance bond,
guaranteeing to maintain the roads in the Mw Addition for a year.
Under these conditions, it was moved and carried to accept the streets
in the Mw Addition; to also accept the water line and drainage, as in-
stalled by Sierra Homes, Inc.
The Council talked over the need for repairing the walk between 56
and 57 S. near 3. 142nd. St. Other street problems were discussed.
Earl Naylor, Police Nudge, reported on Police Court receipts.
Mr. Baker asked Mr. Zepp to wirk with Mr. Minkler, repairing the
drain in the Town hall apartment.

Mr. Minkler reported 4 building permits $hued in May.
There being not more old business meeting adjourned sine die.
Mr. Baker called the new Council to order. Stan Minkler administer-
ed the oath of office to Mayor Baker, reelected as Mayor. Mr. Baker
then administered to oath of office to Ir. Watkins, reelected as
Councilman.
Meeting adjourned at 10 :10.
