O. baker, at 3 p.m. Councilmen present wear Stan winkler, A:0W. Thies, Rudolf Regel and A.G.Radford. The minutes of the meeting of August 1 were read ana approved as read. Current bills were read and upon motion ordered paid. Current Expense Pacific Tel. 6.; Tel. Co., phone fire dept. Aug. Tide Water Assoc. The report of the Watev, D at was read and placed on file. Mr. Minkler reported 5 it issued in August. It was moved and carried we have a special meeting with members of the Board of Directors of School dist.7 /406, on Sept. 26 Or 27 if that would be agreeable with them. Mayor Baker appointed Nick Heinz; Marshal,as chairman of a committee to make a study of the dog problem,with Councilmen Minkler and Hegel and a group of citizens members of this committee, to bring back a report to the November meeting. Ord. #231, the Budget rot 1956, was placed on its first reading. Mayor Baker called attention to the fact that the Town Hall needs to be reshirxled. The Mayor appointed Mr. Llinkler and I.1r. Radford to work with Mr. Zepp in estimating the necessary street wdirk to be done.
