The regular meeting of the Tukwila Town Council was called to order
by the Mayor, Chas. 0. Baker, at 3 p.m. Councilmen present were Stan
Minkler, Rudolf Regel, A.G.Radford and Melvin Watkins.
The minutes of the meeting of July 2 were read and approved as read.
Current bills were read and upon motion ordered paid.

Mr. iviinkler reported 3 building permits issued in July.
i'1r. Henry Smith, newly elected rire Chief,was present and was
congratulated on his new office. He reminded us that permits are
necessary for heating installations.

Mr. Heinz asked theta be a reward for information leading to arrest
and conviction for destroying street signs.
Mr. Zepp reported on street work on 56 Pl. S.
Mr. Regel reported on the condition of the Town path between 56 57
streets. Mr. Baker asked him to tell those destroying the path it must
be restored.
There was a brief discussion of the budget for 1957.
