Baker, at 8 p.m. Councilmen present were Stan Minkler, Rudolf Hegel, Melvin Watkins and Wynn Anderson. The minutes of the meeting of September 4 were read and approved as read. Mr. Baker announced the Regional meetings to be held in various cities After some discussion it was decided that members of the Council, mire and Police depts. would plan on attending the meeting at Bellevue on Thurs., Gat. 25. It was moved and carried the Clerk write a letter to Mr. Al Davis, Contractor, who has built a house on 56 b.,telling him he will be re- quired to restore the shoulder of the street, install tile in front of entire property, either establish a 15 degree slope on the street side or build a retaining wall, build a retains wall along the north side of the property and restore to its original condition the Town Path destroyed by his equipment; the wmrk to be completed by October 25th. or the Town would do ;Lthe work and the cost would become a lien against the property. Upon motion, ord.No.238, the budget for 1957, was placed on its second reading, by title only. Upon motion Ord.# 233 was placed on its 3rd. reading and final passage. Upon motion, ord.# 239, the Gas Ordinance of Tukwila, was placed on its 1st. reading. This refers to Natural Gas. Mr. Baker announced there would be an informal meeting of Council on Oct. 15.
