Baker, the regular meeting of the Tukwila Town Council was called to order by Councilman Stan Minkler. was moved and carried Mr. Minkler act as Mayor, protem. Other Councilmen present were Rudolf Hegel, A.G.Radford, Melvin Watkins and Wynn Anderson. The minutes of the meeting of October 1st. were read and approved as read. The report of the Water dept. was read and placed on file. The Clerk was asked to write t letter to Al Davis, contractor, reminding him the time had expired in which he was to have finished the road replacement, wall and other improvements at the house he built on 56th. Ave. S. 177 Upom motion, Ord.# 239, the Gas ordinance, was placed on its second reading, by title only. Upon motion, ord.# 239 was placed on its third reading and final passage. Mr. Harrison, School Director, informed the Council he was resign- ing his postion on the School Board. He askedvthe Council for names of someone to fill out his unwxpired term. Mr. Carl Bergstrom was the only owe suggested.. At the request of Mr. Corder, representing the Bendex Aviation Corp. the Council agreed to meet with him on Nov. 8, to talk over plans for the business building to be erected. a eet�gadjourned at 9 ;50.
